Safety                                                                                                                                                                   Due to the vastness of the area in which the event is taking place, no permanent fences will be erected. However safety areas will be indicated with cones, lint or safety barriers. A team of 35 Marshals will be appointed to provide information pertaining safety as well as to enforce safety if necessary. No recklessness putting members of the public in danger will be tolerated.

Alcohol Test
Every participant has to do an alcohol test before every run.

Medical                                                                                                                                                        Medical personnel from the Northern Cape Government will be available during the event, including ambulances and medical airlift.

Fire
The Northern Cape Government will also provide fire fighting equipment.

Breakdown
A fulltime breakdown vehicle will be on standby.
